RACING
Competition has been always in the bloodstream of Nava helmets. Since the beginning, the Italian brand has been innovating thanks to its presence at the highest level of competition supplying inumerous famous riders.
It was the first brand to introduce lower air intakes and, a year later, upper air intakes. Thanks to the technical knowledge of "Gigi " Nava the brand then took a very important step at technical level when it comes to visors. Nava was the first brand to introduce smoked visors in its helmets (the riders said thank you....) and even flat visors on racing helmets.
The first carbon fibre helmet was authored by "Gigi Nava ". Its name was Nava FIBRANET a technologically very advanced helmet in its time.
With some world titles in its curriculum, the Nava brand disappears in 1993 after a large fire in its composite factory.
We share some pictures of some of the great riders who used the Italian brand in competition.
